Great to meet you!

Hi there! I've spent over 10 years working with young people, and teens in particular are where a lot of my experience lives — from school counseling with grades 6 through 12, to years of in-home clinical work with adolescents and their families across New Jersey. That said, I genuinely enjoy working across ages, and I bring that same steady, non-judgmental presence whether I'm sitting with a teenager navigating identity and family stress, or an adult working through anxiety, life transitions, or relationship dynamics. I've also spent years mentoring teens outside of formal therapy settings, which shapes how I connect with younger clients specifically. Whatever brought you in, I want sessions to feel like a space where you're genuinely heard, not lectured to.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm and collaborative — I want you to feel like an active partner in your own growth, not just a participant in sessions. I bring a trauma-informed lens to our work together, with a focus on cultural and bilingual identity, as well as family and relationship dynamics. Between sessions, I often incorporate practical homework and exercises to help translate insight into real, everyday change. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and equipped with tools that actually fit your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other — I'll ask about what's bringing you in, your history, and what you're hoping will feel different. We'll also start touching on goals together, though the pace is entirely up to you; some clients want direction right away, others need time to settle in first. I aim to create a space that feels calm, judgment-free, and easy to be honest in. By the end of our first meeting, you should have a clear sense of how we'll work together moving forward.
