Great to meet you!

Individual therapy is your space to slow down, explore what’s beneath the surface, and work towards growth in a supportive and validating therapeutic environment. I am a clinical psychologist who works with adults navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, identity exploration, and work-related stress. I also have specialized training in trauma, substance use, and couples therapy. When you’re ready to explore what’s beneath what you carry, I’d be glad to walk alongside you.

Education:

Doctor of Psychology, PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium (APA Accredited)

Master of Arts, Child Study and Human Development, Tufts University

Bachelor of Science, Biopsychology, Tufts University

Training:

Postdoctoral Fellowship, Palo Alto VA Medical Center (APA Accredited)

Doctoral Internship, VA Greater Los Angeles Medical Center (APA Accredited)

My approach to therapy

Even though therapy and healing work can be difficult, I believe there’s space for playfulness, imagination, and moments of laughter and celebration along the way. I am warm and curious in understanding your lived experiences, while holding a systems lens—understanding you not in isolation, but within the relationships, culture, and context that have shaped you.

I am responsive, flexible, and individually tailor evidence-based practices with you in the therapy room. If you're not sure whether what you're navigating is 'important enough' or you're not sure what would be helpful to work on, I'm here to help you explore what's going on and identify meaningful goals.

What you can expect from me

I hold a non-judgmental, curious, open, and empowering stance, and I can meet you where you are at in life. I hold a holistic view that integrates your exploration of wellness, life purpose and meaning, connection to community, and your own strengths.

In our initial sessions, I am curious and collaborate with you to understand what is no longer working and help you define what change and growth looks like. I support you in building self-awareness and motivation to plant the seeds that lead to lasting growth.
