Great to meet you!

I am a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an LPC Supervisor, which means I also supervise and teach other therapists. I am also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).

I have been a counselor for 20+ years in various settings which has enabled me to learn ways to help individuals with very diverse issues.

My approach to therapy

I am a therapist that believes in an individual's ability to overcome obstacles with the right kind of help. I strive to provide that help. I will use insight, knowledge, and techniques to empower you with the ability to overcome some of the emotional and behavioral obstacles you may be facing.

I use my understanding of how the brain works (neurology) to help ensure that the techniques used will be beneficial to you.

What you can expect from me

Since I work to believe the best in people I am welcoming, friendly, and nonjudgmental. I hope you will feel relaxed and at ease when meeting with me.

My goal is to work with you to help you become the person you want to be with empathy and objectivity. By using experience, insight, and neurologically informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-Ni) we will work together to inform, grow, and empower you, to face life's challenges. My hope is that you will see our time together as time well spent.
