Great to meet you!

Welcome to my profile! I am thrilled that you are taking the very first step towards "being better". While I believe therapy benefits everyone, it could be overwhelming in the beginning, so it is critical to develop a therapeutic relationship with an empathetic, genuine, patient, and attuned therapist who will walk by your side, find your undiscovered wisdom and strength, heal your emotional wounds, apply practical strategies to resolve conflicts and problems.

My approach to therapy

I primarily work with teens/adolescents, and young to mid-aged adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. My specialties inc. depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, sexuality/(gender-)identity, life transitions, trauma and crisis, acculturation stress, and family planning. I am a bilingual (English/Chinese) therapist with years of psychotherapy experience at both community-based clinics and major hospital systems. I am well-trained in CBT/DBT/ERP/ACT.

What you can expect from me

You'll be heard and seen, understood and supported. Since there's no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health, I personalize and tailor your treatment with techniques including CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, positive psychology, psychodynamic, narrative therapy, and a strength-based perspective. Shall we spend 15-min on the phone and see if we are a good fit on your wellness path?
