Great to meet you!

Hi I'm Stevie! I have over 14 years experience in the delivery of mental health services with children, teens, adults, families, and couples. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and my Master's degree in Counseling from Mount Saint Mary's University of Los Angeles. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.

My practice is focused on adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, ADD, OCD, personality disorders, trauma, chronic pain/illness, and relationship challenges. I work closely with LGBTQIA individuals and those on the autism spectrum.

My approach to therapy

I am a hope dealer grounded in realistic outcomes. My practice is affirming, trauma-focused, and mindfulness-based. I can offer emotional awareness techniques, distress tolerance, existential approaches, parts work, and somatic therapy. I will strive to help you reduce the burdens of trauma and shame to restore balance to your world.

Our work together will be guided by what matters most to you, at a pace that feels right. I take time to truly get to know you and ensure you feel seen and valued every step of the way. I believe in creating an authentic space where you can freely explore every part of yourself. I aim to empower you to reclaim your story and discover the resilience within.

What you can expect from me

In the initial phase of therapy I'll get a comprehensive understanding of your life. I will take a wholistic approach to learning about you and what you value the most. This will be a collaborative journey as you are the expert on yourself! We will come up with goals that feel realistic and achievable. I will then introduce interventions to help regulate your emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, and integrate all parts of yourself. For people with chronic mental illness, I'll often turn to existential and narrative approaches. Most see positive improvements within the first 2-3 of treatment.
