Great to meet you!

Life can throw a curve ball that we need help from a third perspective. That is why I like helping people to empower themselves with what's needed in order to fill the gap and reduce barriers to next level or success in their treatment goal(s)!

My communication style is direct - meaning using open-communication and direct to the core issues or the reason that you are facing the obstacles in life to help you recover or stabilize your life and mental health as prompt manner as possible. I also encourage open-communication by inviting people to ask me questions if you have any doubts or comments about the therapy process or me as your therapist.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy treatment using holistic views, meaning a wholeness understanding with naturalistic treatment approach, rather than utilizing medications as the primary treatment. You may ask about it during our sessions if you want to know more. Also, I am trained with COAMFTE accredited graduate education programs, which are offered by very limited number of graduate schools that have such accreditation, from Northcentral University. During my Master's and Ph.D. studies in Marriage and Family Therapy, I developed in-depth views and skills in utilizing Integrative Therapy, meaning use of many modalities instead of using only one with a client. To mention my most commonly used therapy methods, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Therapy, athough the specific modality I use for each client may change.

What you can expect from me

The first session has lots of componants that a therapist has to process as it is an assessment session. Thus, the time will fly by as I will focus on understanding your general background information, making assessment of your diagnosis if any, and creating a treatment plan if we have any time left. This is the official admission into an organization for counseling. It is a typical process to go through lots of information, and it's critical that the client be as honest and open as possible during the initial session to make the approriate assessment and treatment plan which will guide your next 3-4 months of treatment duration in general.
