Great to meet you!

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. This is my second career. I was previously a top-ranked sales representative and marketing manager in the publishing field. But I got tired of selling books and wanted to make a difference. So I went back for my Masters and have been in private practice for 17 years.

My approach to therapy

I offer a safe environment of compassion and respect. Working pyschodynamically, from an object relations perspective, integrating parts work (IFS), attachment theory, CBT, DBT and mindfulness-based practices. This integrative approach allows clients to understand what influences and traumas from childhood, and how those impact and oftentimes limit the success of current relationships. Thereby allowing behavioral changes to be more permanent and lasting.

What you can expect from me

Me getting to know you, and seeing if this is a good fit. Most of the work happens in the relationship, so that's the most important factor.
