Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience in healthcare. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, insomnia, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.

I believe that every person has a unique story and deserves care that is compassionate, respectful, and individualized. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and working toward meaningful change. I am committed to helping you better understand your symptoms, build on your strengths, and improve your overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and holistic. I believe successful treatment begins with listening carefully and understanding each person's experiences, challenges, and goals. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs and preferences.

I recognize the strong connection between mental and physical health and consider the whole person when making treatment recommendations. Depending on your situation, treatment may include medication management, education, coping skills, lifestyle modifications, and coordination with other healthcare providers when appropriate. My goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and actively involved in your care.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to treatment. I will ask questions about your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, life experiences, strengths, and goals. This comprehensive assessment helps me develop a clear understanding of your needs and create a personalized treatment plan.

You can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where your concerns are taken seriously. By the end of the session, we will discuss initial recommendations, answer any questions you may have, and identify practical next steps to support your mental health journey.
