Great to meet you!

I want you to know that you’re not alone in your journey, and I’m here to offer you a caring and supportive space to explore what you’re feeling. Life can be really tough at times, and it’s perfectly okay to seek help. With my diverse background and a deep appreciation for multicultural sensitivity, I am passionate about understanding and honoring your experience.

My approach to therapy

My focus is helping my clients feel better about themselves and work through their symptoms that brought them to therapy. Whether it's stress, trauma, depression, anxiety or family conflict I work with them to deal with the root of issues. Majority of my clients experience reduction of symptoms within the first month of therapy and continue to get better as therapy progresses.

What you can expect from me

My clients express their gratitude for my support, empathy, understanding, and unconditional regard; they feel safe to speak their minds without being judged. I start with a biopsychosocial assessment to get an overall picture of my client’s mental processing, social experiences, and physical health. This helps me understand where my client is and helps to meet my client where they are in their lives. I also conduct a self-esteem assessment because I believe that is the root of most mental health issues. Next, I work with my client to understand the presenting problem and what they would like to achieve in therapy. Once the goals are collaboratively agreed upon, the therapeutic process begins. I like to assign worksheets, journaling, mindfulness exercises, and whatever applies to help clients reach their goals. It's important to me to conduct assessments periodically to see if client symptoms are reduced and get feedback from my client on what is working and what is not.
