Great to meet you!

As a compassionate and dedicated psychotherapist, I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults who are navigating the complexities of mental health challenges. With a specialization in eating disorders, trauma, mood disorders, and a wide range of other mental health illnesses, I am committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, residential treatment facilities, and outpatient programs, providing individualized care tailored to each client's unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a blend of evidence-based therapies and a person-centered approach. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their struggles, build resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies. I believe in the power of empathy and collaboration, building strong therapeutic relationships to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

In a therapeutic session with me you can expect a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment where you are encouraged to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. During the initial sessions, I typically focus on building a rapport, learning about your background, and identifying the issues that you would like to address. I will often guide clients through a process of setting goals for therapy, whether it’s managing anxiety, processing trauma, improving relationships, or gaining self-awareness. I am an active listener; I offer empathy and support and may use various therapeutic techniques to help with opening up in sessions. I move at your pace, and while some sessions may feel emotionally intense, this is a natural part of the healing process. As therapy progresses, you will often gain greater insight, learn practical coping strategies, and see meaningful changes. Each session usually ends with a summary, space for reflection, and a plan for what to focus on next.
