Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 12 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges. My practice is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and respect for each person's unique experiences.

I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, OCD, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual trauma, domestic violence, spiritual trauma, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and focused on your strengths. Together, we'll identify your goals, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, person-centered therapy, and expressive interventions. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs while balancing insight with practical strategies you can apply in everyday life.

Above all, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel accepted and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, review your personal history, identify your strengths, and explore what you hope to achieve through counseling.

You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, and together we'll begin developing a treatment plan that reflects your goals and values. My priority is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of how we'll work together and the next steps toward achieving your goals.
