I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner with experience diagnosing and treating clients ages 6 and older. I treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD.
My approach to providing mental health care is holistic, considering emotional, behavioral, physical, and spiritual well-being. I provide client-centered care and create a safe space for each client to work toward their mental health goals.
During an initial evaluation, I work to identify my patients’ symptoms, when they occur, and how they impact daily life, including family and work relationships. I gather a behavioral health history, medical history, and information about any current or previous treatments.
Together with my patients, I help identify goals and develop a plan to address the symptoms affecting their daily life.
During follow-up appointments, I assess how my patients are doing and determine whether any adjustments to their treatment plan are needed.
