Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade in special education.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, behavior change, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, career and workplace stress, and major life transitions. I also have a strong interest in women’s issues, including parenting, divorce, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, domestic violence, self-esteem, and balancing work, family, and personal needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and speak openly without judgment. I take a collaborative, person-centered approach drawing from ACT, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness. My goal is to meet you where you are and tailor our work to what feels most helpful for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a relaxed opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin building trust. We’ll explore your concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy while getting a sense of whether we’re a good fit before moving forward.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. My goal is to provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can be yourself and share at your own pace
