I completed my certification in the Ross Trauma Model while working on an inpatient trauma unit at UBH-Denton, affiliated with the Ross Institute for Trauma. From there, I transitioned into providing outpatient care as a therapeutic program manager in a therapy house for women. For the past few years, I've enjoyed working in private practice, treating primarily trauma-related disorders, including mood and dissociative disorders. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Level II.
I specialize in treating trauma-related disorders, including Complex PTSD, mood disorders, and dissociative disorders. I also focus on providing care for those who have experienced narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, or neglect. I offer a gentle approach to counseling that is centered on creating a felt sense of safety and skill-building based on each unique individual's needs.
Trauma tends to leave people feeling chronically unsafe and disconnected. My priority is to create an environment where you can begin to feel safe again, or even for the very first time. It is within that safety that we can begin to work together to help you gain a sense of identity, connection, and peace.
