Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Summer Louis, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional balance, clarity, and wellness. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults, adolescents, and children struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that every person’s mental health journey is unique, and treatment should reflect that. During our sessions, I take the time to listen carefully, understand your story, and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values.

I use a combination of evidence-based medication management, supportive therapy, and psychoeducation to help clients gain insight and develop long-term coping strategies. I also emphasize lifestyle factors such as sleep, nutrition, stress management, and mindfulness—because true wellness extends beyond medication alone.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comfortable, judgment-free space where we’ll get to know each other and begin building a foundation for your care. I’ll take the time to learn about your current concerns, medical and mental health history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. Together, we’ll discuss your goals and begin creating a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to your needs.

My goal is for you to leave the first appointment feeling heard, understood, and hopeful.
