Great to meet you!

I am a seasoned, relatable therapist, with 18 years of experience heling adults, children, marriage and families. I seek to help individuals to embrace themselves more authentically and learn to navigate what life brings them. You will feel great warmth, compassion and kindness as I learn about you, your strengths and the challenges that you are experiencing. I endeavor to listen and assess thoroughly before making suggestions as I understand you are the expert of you and life circumstances. I have deep respect my client's and position that I hold as observer in the privileged position to help. I create a collaborative experience that connects my knowledge, expertise and experience to serve my clients to the best of my ability. I seek to give my client's a voice with me in the room to provide me with feedback about your felt experience with me to ensure that you are comfort as we dive into uncharted areas of your thoughts, choices and emotions. You will experience the honoring of all facets of your life, personal, relational, spiritual, somatic etc. In that space I will gently challenge you in the areas that we find you desire to change. I have served a wide range of conditions from PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Personality disorders, familial challenges etc and people from many different ethnicities, cultures, and religious backgrounds.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach therapy not only with warmth and compassion. I seek to understand the thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how they are influencing the world around you. I look through a few lenses including and Cognitive behavioral, experiential and somatic experiencing lense. I also assessed from a systemic perspective to see how one is impacted by their family of origin and other systems like culture, work and school environment. I focus on healing inner child wounds so that there can be a greater expression of the self, which can help to reduce depression and anxiety and heal one of their traumas.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect to walk away from sessions with gained insights, a feeling of empowerment, newfound knowledge about themselves or their situations and practical tools to apply to influence change in their lives.
