Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Summer, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, BPD, trauma, abuse, and neglect. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment, and PHP/IOP settings. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand the experiences and patterns that may be impacting their lives while developing practical coping skills, healthier boundaries, and greater self-awareness. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, build confidence, and create meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, goals, personal history, and what you hope to get out of counseling. I’ll also explain how therapy works and answer any questions you may have.

Most importantly, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you come in. We’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin identifying practical steps toward your goals.
