Great to meet you!

If you’re living with chronic illness, you know it’s more than a diagnosis. It’s the flares, the appointments, the doctors who didn’t believe you, and often older trauma your body is still carrying. I live with Crohn’s, celiac disease, and arthritis, and I help adults with chronic illness and trauma, including childhood, sexual, and medical trauma. A bit about me: I’m South Asian, a chronic illness advocate, a traveler, a foodie, and a dog owner.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed and combines narrative, psychodynamic, and somatic therapy. Psychodynamic work helps us understand how earlier experiences shaped the way you cope and relate to your body today. Somatic work, including Brainspotting, helps your nervous system learn it’s safe now. You’re the expert on your life: you set the pace and decide what we focus on.

What you can expect from me

In our first sessions, we’ll talk through what you want to change and turn it into goals we agree on together. From there, each session balances space for whatever is on your mind that week with focused work toward those goals, such as Brainspotting or tools for managing stress and flares. Sessions are virtual, so you can join from home even on a hard day. I’ve been a social worker since 2016 and a therapist since 2022.
