Great to meet you!

I have been practicing mental health therapy for decades with experiences in government agencies, community clinics, mental health hospitals, Therapeutic Community (TC), church ministry, and private practice. I have successfully helped clients who struggle with family and relational trauma, depression, anxiety, loss/grief, anger, and other concerns.

My approach to therapy

Using motivational interviewing and strategic therapeutic techniques, I bond with the client to establish a trust to work together. I ensure each party can access and talk about their pain and hurts, whether trivial or huge. Each will understand their roles in creating problems, the other's needs and desires, and how to collaborate to create beneficial and lasting changes. The goal is to empower clients to recognize and use their strengths to make desirable changes.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a journey together for you to take the easier-said-than-done steps to respond instead of reacting to problems and letting them take control of your life. During the first session, I listen to understand the concerns. We develop a plan that includes changes and the motivation to take baby steps as needed. Within a month, you can expect to see results. My passion is helping marriages and relationships to thrive so you can build stronger and happier families and relationships.
