Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Sundee and would like to share a little about me.

I hold a master’s degree in psychology/clinical counseling from the University of Massachusetts Global and bring more than 14 years of experience in behavioral and mental health settings. My background includes private practice, crisis intervention, juvenile rehabilitation, adult protective services, and family-centered behavioral health, which has given me the opportunity to work with people from many different walks of life.

Today, I primarily work with adults who are neurodivergent or navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and nervous-system overwhelm. I like to focus on the whole body, not just the mind. I encourage my clients to learn how their body communicates with them in hope that they can form an alliance with their bodies to promote healing and balance in order to live a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, using therapies such as CBT, DBT, narrative, somatic, and mindfulness-based work. I believe therapy should comfortable, but challenging, collaborative, and judgment-free—because sometimes growth starts with finally having a place where you can just be yourself.

In therapy, I draw from a variety of evidence-based and client-centered approaches, while focusing on creating a relationship that feels genuine and individualized. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical tools, process difficult experiences, and move toward a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.

What you can expect from me

You can come to therapy exactly as you are. There is no “right” way to show up, no need to have the perfect words, and definitely no such thing as TMI. You can laugh, cry, swear, ramble, change the subject, or sit in silence—we’ll work with whatever shows up.

I believe therapy works best when both people can be real. I may be a little playful and loud from time to time, but I’ll always meet you with honesty, empathy, and zero judgment. My goal is to create a space where you can take off the mask, exhale, and know that you don’t have to perform here. If you’re looking for therapy that feels human, genuine, and grounded in connection, you’re welcome to reach out.
