Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Sunny. Since 2007, I have provided wellness retreats and/or counseling to families, couples, and individuals. Until 2025, our Military Families, Spouses, Chaplains, Service Members, and Women were primarily my focus. I also held space and provided support to individuals transitioning toward the End of Life. Now, tho still trauma-informed, my practice has broadened to include more late life transitions, end of life existential concerns, women's issues, and a stronger focus on supporting individuals through processing being stuck from trauma and developmental trauma.

My approach to therapy

My training and expertise has evolved to dig into the root of concerns where trauma layers initially pack a foundation. That means I have a deeply trauma-informed approach to therapy. We progress at a pace that is unique to you. EMDR is my primary modality while integrating IFS. They work! But my style is Very Integrative. Blending the structured, neurobiological healing of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) with the heart-centered principles of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), mindfulness, heartmath breathing and humor, we create a truly comprehensive space allowing for transformation. unique life circumstances and stressors. We tap into Your Body and Mind's ability to Heal with Adaptive Information to understand and process your unique life stressors.

What you can expect from me

You can expect in a word, Caring. I care with straight forward dialogue, with compassion, collaboration, and laser focused listening. Then we work to develop a therapeutic plan together - you might even have some homework in our first session. My therapeutic approach is genuinely integrative and holistically supportive. I believe in the power you have to heal, to engage, and to bolster your confidence and self-identity for a better life in the present and the future. WE partner together for YOUR wellness.
