As a licensed mental health counselor, having immigrated to NYC myself, I understand the challenges of navigating life in a foreign country and the complex emotions that can arise from such experiences. I am good in communicating in MandarinI and am passionate and committed to helping immigrants, especially the Asian community, improve their emotional and behavioral health, navigate challenges, and discover their strengths.

My approach is individualized and tailored to your unique needs. My experience spans different issues, including cultural identity, acculturation, intergenerational conflict, job stress, relationship dissatisfaction, anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties. My goal is to collaboratively guide clients toward a deeper understanding of themselves, helping them unravel the complexities of their inner world with patience and kindness.

In sessions, I create a non-judgemental and safe environment space and take the time to get to know each client's background, experiences, and needs. Through gentle exploration, I encourage clients to reflect on their experiences, relationships, and behavior patterns in the session. We can work together to explore your struggles and manage them toward living the life you want by increasing insights and improving relationships, working life stress, and developing practical coping skills.
