Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience, I focus first on creating a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, safety, and respect. From there, we work collaboratively to explore the patterns, experiences, and challenges that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we develop an individualized plan that aligns with your unique needs, strengths, values, and goals. For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of supporting military service members, veterans, and their families through life's challenges and transitions. As a South Asian therapist, I also understand the unique complexities of cultural expectations, immigration experiences, family dynamics, and balancing multiple identities. I am passionate about helping individuals from all backgrounds navigate personal, relational, academic, and professional pressures while creating a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each individual. Drawing from psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, positive psychology, Compassion and Mindfulness-based practices, I help clients gain insight, develop practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change. My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms, but to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, build resilience, and develop the tools needed to create a more fulfilling and balanced life.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, accepted, and supported. My clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, nonjudgmental, honest in my feedback, and supportive while providing accountability that encourages growth. Many clients leave sessions feeling more hopeful, empowered, confident, and connected to themselves and others.

If you're looking for an experienced therapist who combines compassion, cultural understanding, and practical guidance, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting well-being. I look forward to exploring the possibility of working together.
