Great to meet you!

Suraya Susana Keating is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR-certified, Expressive Arts and Drama Therapist who helps youth and adults heal from trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges so they can live with greater freedom, authenticity, and ease.

Her approach is warm, deeply attuned, and experiential. Clients often come to Suraya when they feel stuck in patterns of fear, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm, and are ready to move beyond insight alone into deeper, lasting transformation.

Suraya integrates EMDR, parts work, somatic practices, and expressive arts to help clients access their inner wisdom, process unresolved experiences, and reconnect with a sense of wholeness. She offers a space of genuine acceptance while also supporting meaningful growth and change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, creative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when all parts of you are welcomed and supported.

I work with adults and youth navigating anxiety, depression, trauma (including PTSD and complex trauma), relationship challenges, chronic pain, and life transitions. Together, we’ll move at your pace to gently explore what’s beneath the surface of your current struggles.

In our work, I integrate EMDR, parts work (IFS-informed), somatic (body-based) practices, and expressive arts and drama therapy. This allows us to go beyond talking about problems and into actually shifting how they live in your body and nervous system.

My goal is to help you feel more regulated, connected, and empowered—so you can respond to life with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been going through, and what you’re hoping for.

You can expect a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and not judged. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your experiences, and we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you.

You’ll also leave with a clearer sense of how we might work together, and—when helpful—some practical tools or insights you can begin using right away.

Most importantly, the first session is about helping you feel comfortable and supported as we begin this process together.
