Great to meet you!

I'm Surilla, and before I became a therapist, I spent years as a hospital and school nurse, and I've raised children into adulthood of my own. I've sat with people at some of their hardest moments, and I've learned that healing happens when someone finally feels truly seen. That's what I offer you: a space where you don't have to perform or explain yourself twice. I'm passionate about helping people move from feeling stuck to feeling like themselves again, and I'd be honored to be part of that with you. If something in your life feels unsettled, maybe a relationship that's grown strained, grief you haven't had space to feel, or anxiety that won't quiet down I invite you to book a session.

My approach to therapy

Before anything else, I listen. Really listen, not just to the words but to what's underneath them, because I can't help you until I understand what you're actually carrying. From there, I meet you where you are. A lot of our work together will be solution focused, so you leave sessions with real, usable steps forward, not just insight. But therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, so when you need space to simply process rather than plan, I follow your lead instead.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you'll find encouragement, honesty, and hope, even on the hard days. You'll feel heard, probably for the first time in a while in some areas of your life. Over time, most people notice they're not just coping better, they're gaining real clarity and forward motion. If you're ready to stop carrying this alone, I'd love to talk with you.
