Great to meet you!

With twenty-three years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I've had the privilege of sitting with people through some of life's most difficult moments and watching them come out the other side stronger than they imagined. I specialize in OCD, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges, and I also support clients navigating grief, family conflict, anger, panic, ADHD, and LGBTQ+-related concerns.

What I bring to the work isn't just clinical expertise it's genuine investment in the person in front of me. I approach every client with curiosity, warmth, and deep respect for the complexity of their inner world. Whether you're managing intrusive thoughts, recovering from trauma, or trying to repair a relationship, you'll find a steady, experienced guide in me.

My approach to therapy

My work draws from a rich and intentional toolkit built over more than two decades of practice. For OCD and anxiety, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Prolonged Exposure, two of the most evidence-based treatments available. For trauma, I draw on Trauma-Focused CBT and somatic approaches that help the body release what the mind can't always articulate. For relationships and couples, I'm trained in the Gottman Method and Behavioral Couples Therapy, offering structured, research-backed tools for rebuilding connection.

Underneath all of it, I'm a humanistic and psychodynamic therapist at heart, meaning I care deeply about who you are, not just what you're struggling with. I also integrate Jungian and transpersonal frameworks for clients who are drawn to deeper questions of meaning, identity, and the self. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) rounds out my approach for clients managing chronic stress or recurrent depression.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. I'll ask about what's brought you to therapy, what your life looks like right now, and what you're hoping to shift or heal. I'll listen and you'll leave with a clear sense of my style and a beginning sense of direction.

I don't believe in making you wait weeks to feel like progress is happening. Even in session one, most clients tell me they feel a little lighter just from being heard without judgment. From there, we'll build a plan that's tailored to you, your goals, your pace, and your life.
