Great to meet you!

I’m Susan Bell, a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience supporting adults through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. Since beginning my work in the 1980s, I’ve been committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and life transitions, and I’m dedicated to helping clients build resilience and reconnect with their strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client‐centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‐based practices. I work to understand each person’s unique experiences and goals, and I tailor therapy to support their individual needs. My style is warm, steady, and supportive, with a focus on helping you explore what’s getting in the way, heal past hurts, and develop practical tools for long‐term well‐being and growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming environment where you can share at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to change, and what support feels most helpful to you. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and confident that we’re moving in the right direction. If we haven’t already connected by phone, we’ll also use this time to answer any questions and make sure the fit feels right.
