Great to meet you!

I work with women and couples who are tired of feeling stuck - stuck in anxiety loops, stuck in relationship patterns they can't seem to break, or stuck between who they've been and who they want to become. I bring 20 years of experience, a direct communication style, and a genuine sense of humor to the work. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming, committed to antiracist practice, and deeply invested in creating space where all identities are welcome. If you've ever been told you're "too much" or "too sensitive," you'll probably fit right in here.

I see individuals (especially women navigating anxiety, self-worth, and major life transitions), couples (including partners navigating infidelity recovery, emotional disconnection, or communication breakdown), and I have a particular passion for maternal mental health — supporting new and expecting moms through the parts of early parenthood that nobody warned you about.

My approach to therapy

I pull from CBT, Gottman Method, Imago Relationship Therapy, ACT, and attachment theory — not because I follow a rigid script, but because different people need different tools. I'm strengths-based and trauma-informed, which means we build on what's already working in you while making real space to address what isn't.

Expect me to ask good questions, reflect things back you might not have said out loud before, and occasionally make you laugh in the middle of something hard. Therapy with me is a real conversation — direct, sometimes challenging, and always with your goals in the lead. I'm also deeply committed to social equity and feminist principles, which shapes how I think about power, relationships, and what "better" actually looks like for each person I work with.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting clear — on what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you actually want from therapy. I'll ask questions, share some observations, and by the end, we'll have a rough roadmap together. You won't leave wondering what comes next.

Most people leave that first session feeling like they finally talked to someone who actually gets it. That's the goal. I offer a free 15-minute consultation before we schedule if you'd like to get a sense of whether we're a good fit first — reach out anytime.
