Great to meet you!

I have been employed as a clinical psychiatric nurse specialist and provider for over 40 years.

I have worked across the life span with children, adolescents, young adults, older adults, and geriatric age groups.

My areas of specialization have been inpatient and outpatient psychiatric service services, hospital liaison, residential treatment, community mental health, telehealth, nursing education, and Veteran Affairs.

I feel I have had positive outcomes in collaborating with patients to restore a sense of wellbeing and balance back in their lives so life can be enjoyed to the fullest.

My goal is to collaborate with you as a whole person, to be a good listener, instill hope in your future, and offer best practice treatments to ensure a safe recovery.

My approach to therapy

To complete an extensive and engaged comprehensive psychiatric evaluation.

Establish a full treatment plan based on the formulation of data.

Prescribe evidence based psychotropic medication.

Educate on medication needs and any forgoing side effects/adverse events.

Assess for efficacy of treatment.

What you can expect from me

Patients will receive a complete psychiatric evaluation and treatment plan after their first session.

This includes education, diagnosis, medication management, and any further recommendations that would enhance recovery.

Follow-up sessions will be scheduled based on the needs of the patient and full discussion of any questions and concerns in their treatment.
