Dr. Susan Crum

I am a Christian woman who has been widowed, who is blessed with the love of biological, adoptive and foster children. I am a person who has overcome serious illness, loss of loved ones, helping childrne with special needs, financial challenges and trauma, and in the process honed coping skills that permitted me to not only to adapt but also to thrive. In the end, each new challenge has been used by God to provide me new insignts and tools to help others.

My focus is on the intersection of mental and physical health. In other words, I partner with patients to manage stress that catalyzes or aggravates physical problems like hypertension, headaches or gastrointestinal problems, while also helping patient cope emotionally with pain and physicall illnesses that negatively impact a patient's life and emotional health.

The goal is for each individual to take away from therapy a range of effective coping skills that they can implement in the future when confronted with life's challenges.
