Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Susan Curry, and I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and credentialed School Counselor. I received my Master in Science from San Francisco State University and my Bachelors from Middlebury College. Through my 20 years in education and my experience raising a teen, I understand the many challenges for youth and their families, and I deeply respect and appreciate diverse ethnicities, spiritualities, orientations, and identities.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I offer a non-judgmental, safe space for children, teens, and adults to foster self-acceptance, healthy boundaries, personal growth, and well-being. My goal is to empower you to navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, communication patterns, grief, and life transitions.

What you can expect from our first session

I support clients using an integrative, strengths-based approach to meet each person’s needs. Rooted in attachment and family systems theories, I draw upon evidence-based modalities such as DBT, CBT, mindfulness and others, infused with a sense of groundedness and humor.
