Great to meet you!

I've been a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2010. I earned my masters degree from Columbia School of Nursing and my doctorate from SUNY Stony Brook School of Nursing. I have practiced across the spectrum of care, but more recently I've narrowed my focus primarily to women's mental health care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Hearing your story will help us establish a collaborative partnership. We will work together to identify your mental health and wellness goals. I incorporate CBT and psychodynamic modalities into our sessions for skill building and enhancing self awareness for personal growth. I like to "keep it real" allowing for progress, but with a warm and humorous tone.

What you can expect from our first session

At your first few sessions, we will establish a plan of care. I utilize both medication management and non-medication based treatment recommendations to facilitate a holistic approach to your care. At follow up sessions, we will check in about your progress and refine your goals to work towards wellness. If somethings not working, we talk about it and change course as needed. This is a dynamic process!
