Great to meet you!

I am a clinical social worker therapist in private practice for over thirty years. While in private practice I also worked at all levels of care, and especially with families and teens. I am a former Director of Mental Health Services in Community Mental Health Services and Director of Social Work in a hospital. I have always worked with individuals, families, couples, adolescents and children in my programs, private practice and doing home visits. I am a cognitive behavioral therapist, which means I use modalities to help you learn coping skills to empower you to move forward in your life. I listen to you to identify with you, your needs, and how I may best serve you. I believe in a mind body connection, meaning your physical health and your mental health work together. I join you in supporting you to feel better and/ or work on the issues you present. I provide you with a safe, confidential place to share your needs and learn new skills to get changes you want.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is change. Listening is first and foremost to hear what you need and want.

What you can expect from me

I will listen to you and help assess your needs. I will ask you questions to get as much information as possible but we will also talk about a plan to move forward in upcoming sessions.
