My degree is an MSED (3 years), a CACREP accredited Masters in Science and Education, in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University (Ohio). I am currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, LMHC (for NYS requirements), a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, (Ohio, Kentucky) and a NYS CPS, (New York State Certified Peer Specialist/Peer Counselor), which requires lived experience. I am also a Clinical Supervisor for MHC-LP's and LMSW's.

My approach to therapy

My specialties are crisis counseling, trauma, LGBTQIA+, Substance Use, Abuse and Addiction, Domestic Violence, Cultural Competence, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Empowerment, Advocacy, Agency, enumerable resources with a CBT, SFBT, REBT, ACT, DBT, Existential , Narrative and Psycho-dynamic approach that includes interventions like mindfulness, meditation, and holistic treatment modalities. My approach focuses on peer and person centeredness that is trauma informed and collaborative.

During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that is most helpful for you in order to recognize a lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
