Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with prescriptive authority and many years of experience providing comprehensive psychiatric care. I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health treatment tailored to each patient's unique needs. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. As a lifelong learner, I have completed additional training in Mental Health First Aid, Advanced Psychopharmacology, and Trauma-Informed Care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to psychiatric care is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. I believe that effective mental health treatment addresses the whole person by recognizing the interconnectedness of emotional, psychological, and physical well-being. My diverse clinical background has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of mental health across the lifespan and enables me to deliver personalized, patient-centered care.

My treatment philosophy emphasizes building a strong therapeutic relationship while empowering patients to actively participate in their care. I incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care—to help individuals develop resilience, improve daily functioning, and achieve lasting emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

I am deeply committed to providing responsive, inclusive, and compassionate mental health care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. I am passionate about reducing barriers to mental health care, promoting mental health awareness, and helping individuals and families achieve meaningful, lasting recovery.
