Great to meet you!

Hello! I have a bachelors degree in elementary education 1-8/ special education k-12 and a masters degree in guidance and counseling. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2014. I am a former special education teacher, school counselor elementary/secondary, and I have worked as an LPC in private practice, community mental health, and in a hospital setting in the ER. I believe that all of these experiences have given me a unique perspective and ability to help others.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person centered and strengths based. I believe that every person has the ability to heal and grow and my role as a therapist is to provide a safe, non judgmental environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences.

What you can expect from me

My goals for clients to take away from our sessions are a deeper understanding of their thoughts and emotions, practical tools to manage challenges, increased self awareness, a sense of validation, a safe environment to openly discuss concerns, and the ability to develop coping mechanisms to navigate different situations, ultimately aiming to improve their overall well being and quality of life.
