Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. My passion is helping individuals navigate life's challenges while creating a supportive, collaborative environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory Science from DeVry University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is centered on holistic, whole-person, and patient-centered care. I believe that successful mental health treatment involves a partnership between provider and patient built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect. I combine evidence-based practice with clinical experience to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each person's unique needs, strengths, and goals.

My clinical interests include the treatment of mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic mental illness. I provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic interventions for adults ages 18 to 65+. I believe in creating individualized plans of care that value client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice. My goal is to empower clients through education and support in a welcoming, stigma-free environment where they can actively participate in their treatment and recovery.

I also have a strong interest in behavioral health integration, trauma-informed care, psychotherapy, routine screening care, and inpatient psychiatry. I am committed to a collaborative approach that addresses the whole person and supports long-term mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, discussion of treatment goals, and education regarding diagnosis and available treatment options. I encourage active patient involvement throughout the treatment process and believe that education and understanding are key components of successful outcomes.

I am committed to providing a welcoming, stigma-free environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and exploring treatment options. My goal is to help individuals. improve their mental health, strengthen resilience, and achieve greater overall well-being while supporting them every step of the way.
