Hi, my name is Sue Pierce, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I enjoy helping clients find solutions to their problems. I work with all genders specifically in areas of anxiety, substance use, and depression. I am an active listener for those that just need a person to talk to. A little information regarding my education is I have a BS in Psychology, MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Graduate Certificate in Addictions. I am certified in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered and solution focused approach to therapy. I think it's important for you to be in charge, going at your speed and ensuring you are comfortable during therapy. It's important for you to find solutions to your problems to improve your quality of life and self-esteem. I am an empathetic active listener to ensure you are heard.

What you can expect from me

My clients usually tell me how easy it is to talk to me and I have a very calming voice. They report feeling better and at ease after one session. I strive to build rapport initially and I want to hear your story without you feeling uncomfortable.
