Susan Rivieccio

I have been working in the mental health field since 1996, got my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling with emphasis in Marriage, Family and Children in 1997. I have been a licensed LMFT for almost 8-years. So I know a thing or two about long, winding roads! I've worked in a variety of settings including a non-profit serving victims of domestic and sexual violence, residential in patient for teens and young adults, a psychiatric hospital and my own private practice. My passion is working with adults and elders who are experiencing anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, life transitions and grief.

Rather than assume I already know what is best for you, I begin with, "I don't know what I think I know." I lean toward somatic and self-discovery therapy approaches to help adults and elders who are feeling like their lives feel smaller, less joyful or feel stuck with no clear way forward, I offer a supportive place to begin finding your way again.

You can expect your first session with me to be collaborative. I am someone who will meet you where you are now and feel it is a privilege to accompany you as you begin to reconnect with your authentic self.
