Great to meet you!
Whether you are struggling with communication in relationships, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety/depression, or trying to break old behavioral patterns, I am here to help. With 23 years of experience, my approach to therapy is based on the idea that the most important ingredient in psychotherapy is the relationship that develops between the therapist and the patient. The patient must feel comfortable, safe and understood. This type of trusting environment motivates the exploration of self and enables individuals to reach their full personal potential (self-actualization). I view you as the expert on your own life. We work as a team to uncover the patterns that no longer serve you. Goals for therapy may include changing behaviors; improving relationships; managing depression, anxiety, stress or anger; increasing motivation, decreasing self-destructive behaviors; and developing healthy coping strategies for life. Together we will form a partnership focused on helping you find clarity, balance, and meaningful progress.
