Great to meet you!

As a therapist with a diverse background in both education and clinical work, I bring over 26 years of experience supporting individuals and families. I have worked extensively with children as an elementary school teacher and continue to volunteer in educational and community programs, such as coaching a Battle of the Books team and serving as an ambassador for a classical music education initiative. In addition to my work with children, I have significant experience in reproductive health counseling, sexual dysfunction, weight loss, and health improvement. My passion lies in helping both children and adults navigate life’s challenges, and I am committed to creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all my client!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered and holistic, drawing on my broad experience in mental health, education, and wellness. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring my methods to their unique needs, whether that involves individual, couples, or family therapy. I am comfortable addressing a wide range of concerns, including sexual health, chronic health conditions, and behavioral changes, and I strive to empower clients to achieve their goals in a safe and nonjudgmental space. I value open communication and collaboration, and I am dedicated to helping clients build resilience and find satisfaction in their lives.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a warm and empathetic introduction focused on understanding their goals and concerns. I take time to listen and learn about your background, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we will discuss your history, identify areas for growth, and begin to develop a personalized plan for moving forward. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning of our work together.
