Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from Barry University. I’ve had the privilege of working in community mental health, substance use treatment, and with individuals who have experienced trauma and victimization. These experiences have shaped my passion for helping people navigate stress, anxiety, depression, and the impact of past experiences.

Currently, I work in private practice, where I support individuals in creating meaningful change and finding a greater sense of balance and relief in their lives. I believe that everyone has strengths within them, even if they feel hard to see at times, and therapy can be a space to rediscover those strengths and begin moving forward. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where you feel understood, supported, and not alone in what you’re going through.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centered around you. I believe that healing happens when you feel safe, supported, and truly heard, so I focus on creating a space where you can show up as you are without judgment. Together, we explore your experiences, identify patterns, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I use a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, integrating modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and EMDR. I tailor each session to your unique needs, helping you build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and reconnect with your strengths. My style is empathetic and solution-focused, offering both support and gentle guidance as you move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of comfort and trust. I’ll invite you to share what’s been going on in your life and what brought you to therapy, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is your space.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and what you’d like to feel or experience differently in your life. I’ll also help you start exploring small, manageable steps and tools that can support you moving forward. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about what’s possible.
