Great to meet you!

My counseling focus is with teens, adults, and families. I have a passion for supporting LGBTQ+ teens and their families. I look forward to celebrating and supporting you wherever you may be on your journey. I am a client-led therapist and want you to bring questions, concerns and fears to our sessions so that we can progress as a team. I want you to feel heard, valued, comfortable and safe. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and substance use concerns.

My approach to therapy

My focus is on trauma-informed care based in “what happened to you” instead of “what’s wrong with you,” healing from the past and improving the present. I draw from a blended approach that includes EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MCBT). I also utilize creative outlets through play, art, and music to work towards therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

I provide a specialized, personal approach to each client and modify homework and tools based on individual needs. My focus is to provide a space to process, feel, learn, grow and build a toolbox to meet your goals in therapy.
