Susan Woomer

Dr. Woomer is a dedicated and compassionate clinical social worker with a passion for helping individuals and families with mental health and addiction. With over 10 years of experience in the field, She has become a trusted professional in addiction and mental health treatment. She graduated with her Doctorate in Social Work in 2023 with a focus on addiction work in the harm reduction field.

She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including addiction treatment centers, mental health clinics, and private practice. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Her approach is holistic and person-centered. She has expertise with cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. She believes that working with clients on a telehealth platform should not change the relationship and that therapy can be effective in any setting.

Dr. Woomer specializes in the treatment of addiction and mental health disorders, including anxiety and depression. She have experience with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She has a very laid back personal approach when working with her clients which allows her to build rapport very quickly.

Personal Interests

Outside of her professional world she enjoys going to concerts, spending time with her family and friends, and my three guinea pigs!
