Dr. Woomer is a dedicated and compassionate clinical social worker with a passion for helping individuals and families with mental health and addiction. With over 10 years of experience in the field, She has become a trusted professional in addiction and mental health treatment. She graduated with her Doctorate in Social Work in 2023 with a focus on addiction work in the harm reduction field.
She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including addiction treatment centers, mental health clinics, and private practice. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Her approach is holistic and person-centered. She has expertise with cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. She believes that working with clients on a telehealth platform should not change the relationship and that therapy can be effective in any setting.
