Great to meet you!

You may be getting through your days while your mind and body never seem to fully relax. Maybe you're lying awake replaying conversations, experiencing panic that seems to come out of nowhere, checking or repeating things just to quiet your thoughts, or carrying painful experiences that still affect your relationships and how safe you feel. You might be grieving someone you love, struggling with ADHD and feeling constantly behind, or questioning who you are while balancing family or cultural expectations. I work with adults who are tired of feeling like they're always in survival mode and want to feel calmer, more confident, and more connected to themselves. You don't have to keep pretending you're okay or figure everything out on your own.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should help you understand why you feel the way you do while also giving you practical ways to make everyday life easier. Together, we'll work on things like calming your body when panic hits, quieting the cycle of obsessive thoughts and behaviors, sleeping when your mind won't shut off, and understanding how past experiences may still influence your reactions today. When you're ready, we'll also work through painful memories without allowing them to define your future. We'll pay attention to both your thoughts and what you're experiencing physically because stress and trauma don't always live only in our minds. My goal is to help you feel less controlled by fear, painful memories, and overwhelming thoughts so you can make choices based on the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation, not a test, and you don't need to know exactly where to begin. We'll talk about what's been hardest lately, whether that's panic attacks, sleepless nights, intrusive thoughts, grief, relationship problems, or simply feeling exhausted from holding everything together. I'll take time to understand your experiences, what's happening in your life now, and what you would genuinely like to feel different. You won't be expected to share painful details before you're ready, and we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, hopeful, and with a clear idea of what we can begin working on together.
