Susana Kinikini

Susana Kinikini is a board-certified Family & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, earning a Master’s Degree in 2003, a Doctorate Degree in 2019, and a Post-Doctorate Degree as a PMHNP in 2021, from the University of Utah and Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. She has worked in psychiatry since 2006. Her passion is to provide access to affordable, quality care.

She enjoys time with family, traveling, playing pickle ball, and volunteering both at church and in the community.

Susana uses a non-judgmental, therapeutic, faith-based approach to improve behavioral/mental health, while considering various facets of an individuals mental, emotional, physical, nutritional and behavioral wellness. Her experience, allows for focused initial assessment & evaluation, follow-up, and medication management of anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, addiction, and other mental health conditions. Board Certified in family & psychiatry allows for a more comprehensive approach in care.

Her goal is to promote behavioral/mental health well-being, and allowing client input in treatment considerations that would provide patient tailored care. She enjoys getting to know her clients, and maintains patient/provider therapeutic relations. She understands that each client, with emerging symptoms (e.g. anxiety), or acute/chronic symptoms (e.g. suicidality, major depressive disorder, substance use withdrawals), requires a client-specific care plan for stabilization.
