Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Psychologist with over 12 years experience specializing in addiction, trauma recovery, and treating mood disorders, offering individualized treatment tailored to your unique experiences. I work collaboratively to help you understand patterns, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change. Whether you’re navigating alcohol or substance recovery, relationship challenges, healing from past trauma, or managing anxiety or depression, I provide a supportive, compassionate space to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

I support individuals starting their journey towards a healthier relationship to alcohol and substances, those maintaining recovery and those navigating transitions from higher levels of care. Whether your goal is abstinence or harm reduction, I provide evidence-based support to help you gain and maintain recovery, prevent relapse, manage relationships in recovery and build a meaningful life in sobriety.

I obtained my Doctoral Degree at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and further trained in College Counseling, Community Mental Health, Medical Health and Substance Recovery settings in New York and San Francisco, CA. I have extensive training in depth psychology and skills based approaches and tailor treatment to suit your specific needs.

My approach to therapy

I work with you to understand and change coping responses that no longer work for you. I use an integrative approach tailored to your specific needs and concerns. I have extensive training in depth psychology and skills based approaches such as DBT and CBT. I work with you to address the root emotional causes of your difficulties, while also teaching concrete tools and adaptive strategies to facilitate change and improve life satisfaction.

Overall, my approach is warm, non-judgmental, interactive, and down to earth. My goal is to guide you toward wholeness, vitality, and self-acceptance, incorporating cultural humility and honoring all aspects of your identity. I believe healing occurs when talking things through in a space where you can speak uncensored.

What you can expect from me

I our first session I will take a comprehensive history and work collaboratively with you to establish treatment goals and tailor our work together.
