Great to meet you!

Hey, there! Are you happy? Do you have questions that you just can’t seem to answer? Is there a feeling of disconnection or distraction? Do you feel like a spectator in your own life? Are you living your best life? These questions and many more face us all. As a counselor, my passion is helping you and your family answer that ultimate question with a resounding YES! In life we all struggle with our emotional health from time to time and through solution focused and cognitive behavioral counseling I work with you, my client, to resolve these concerns and promote growth.

As a proud Latina who is bicultural and bilingual in Spanish, I value inclusivity and cultural understanding in my work. I believe that therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment, and my clients often share that they feel comfortable opening up to me right from the start. At the same time, I will gently challenge you to explore what’s holding you back and to engage fully in your self-care and growth. My approach is collaborative and empowering—I’m here to walk alongside you as you build new insights and skills that support lasting change. At the heart of my practice is a strong client-centered philosophy rooted in empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. Whether you’re navigating a period of transition, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, or working to overcome emotional challenges, I tailor our work to fit your unique needs and goals. My commitment is to create a space where you feel truly seen and supported as you take meaningful steps toward greater clarity, resilience, and well-being.

Let's prioritize your mental health. Please reach out and I will promptly get back to you. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Hasta pronto :)

A bit about my approach to therapy

As an eclectic counselor, I draw from a variety of theories such as cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, existential theory, expressive-art based interventions, solution-focused therapy, and at the core of my therapeutic modality is a client-centered approach.

What you can expect from our first session

Our first session will be dedicated to understanding your presenting concerns, perceived barriers to treatment, strengths, and goals for therapy. I will explain in detail your rights and responsibilities as a client, what to expect from me as your counselor, and what therapy will consist of moving forward. Using a collaborative approach, you will leave our sessions with an understanding of and clarity on presenting concerns and potential solutions for positive change.
