Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Susana, and I’m so glad you’re here. For the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people work through anxiety, depression, and life’s everyday challenges. I earned my degree and licensure in social work because helping others feel more like themselves again is work I care deeply about. I’d be honored to support you, too.

My approach to therapy

I support individuals dealing with overthinking, over worrying, feeling down & out, grief, and trauma using evidence-based practices. My focus is on the whole person—emotional, cognitive, and behavioral well-being—so that we can create meaningful and lasting change together.

In our work, I draw from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based techniques, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and complete an assessment to better understand what you’re experiencing and how I can best support you. By the end of that session, I’ll share my recommendations and we’ll talk through the next steps that feel right for you.

As we continue working together, we’ll explore your thoughts and emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build coping tools to help improve your mood, reduce anxiety, and navigate whatever life brings. My hope is that you leave each session feeling seen, supported, and a little more empowered to face what’s ahead.
