Great to meet you!

As a licensed counselor, I understand how difficult seeking therapy can be. I strive to make therapy a safe and comfortable space for you to explore, grow and heal. In my over 20 years in the social services/mental health fields, I have worked with clients from all walks of life, though my ideal client is age 13 and above.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach therapy with the assumption that every person is inherently good and doing their best given their current circumstances, resources and tools. My goals for therapy are not to “fix” a person but to empower them to live their fullest and most authentic life.

What you can expect from our first session

I am empathetic and supportive and encourage clients to evaluate thoughts and behaviors that have become problematic. I tend to inject humor into my work and will draw from personal experiences and education to assist clients.
